1956: The Dawn of Innovation

In the historic city of Lviv, GIRHIMPROM embarked on its remarkable journey as a branch of the prestigious “Gosgorkhymproekt” Moscow institute.

This momentous beginning in the heart of the Soviet Union’s mining and chemical innovation laid the foundations of a legacy destined to revolutionize the industry.

1970: Charting a New Course

This era marked a significant milestone as we emerged as an independent powerhouse, “Lvivgirkhimproekt,” broadening our horizons and deepening our expertise, especially in sulfur production.

It was a time of strategic growth and diversification, setting the stage for decades of industry leadership and groundbreaking developments.

1970s: The Age of Technological Advancement

Renamed as the All-Union Scientific Research and Design Institute of the Sulfur Industry (VNDPISurka), we experienced a technological renaissance.

Our innovative approach expanded the sulfur product line, contributing significantly to the industry and cementing our reputation as pioneers of progress.

1992: Embracing Global Ambitions

As the newly named Institute of Mining and Chemical Industry “GIRHIMPROM,” we broke new ground, transitioning beyond our Soviet legacy to make our mark on the international stage.

Projects like the Abu-Tartur phosphate deposit in Egypt showcased our global ambitions and capabilities.

As per our agreement (No. 21/17 dated June 6, 2017), your team successfully executed the critical project of reclaiming and reconstructing land in the Yavorivsk DHHP “Sirka” operation area, Yavoriv district, Lviv region, that had been disturbed by mining activities. Your adherence to the high standards of the design brief, the quality of the workmanship, and the timely completion of the project were exceptional. We couldn't have asked for a more professional and dedicated partner for such an important environmental initiative.

In May 2018, we had the pleasure of renewing contract No. 14 with TZOV 'Institute GIRHIMPROM' for a crucial environmental project. The task was to address the contamination of groundwater and reclaim damaged lands across various mining and technological sites of the Kolyshny Kalussky potassium-magnesium extraction plant in Kalush, Ivano-Frankivsk region. The scope included the Dombrovsky quarry with new fractured rock shafts No1 and No4, tailing dumps No1 and No2, and the slurry deposit. We are delighted to confirm that the project was not just completed to our exact specifications, but also in strict accordance with the design and contractual terms. The quality and precision of the work truly met our high expectations.

From 2014 to 2016, under the guidance of the Additional Agreement No. 9 dated January 27, 2014, we had the esteemed institute undertake the ambitious project of creating a technological complex for the processing of titanium-zirconium ore at the Motronivsk-Annivsk section of the Malyshevsk deposit. This complex was designed to handle a capacity of 4.752 million tons per year for PJSC 'Krymsky TITAN'. We can affirm with great satisfaction that the work was completed in full congruence with our Terms of Reference. The institute's dedication to delivering high-quality results and adhering to the agreed-upon timeline was remarkable.

We express our immense satisfaction with the project conducted by the 'Institute GIRKHIMPROM' during 2015-2016, as per our contract (No. 44/15 dated September 1, 2015). The project was executed with exceptional quality and precision, fully aligning with the technical requirements. The professional approach and adherence to timelines demonstrated by the Institute were commendable. Their expertise significantly contributed to the success of our objectives.

We acknowledge and appreciate the exceptional work done by 'Institute GIRKHIMPROM' under contracts No. 45/13 and No. 46/13 in 2013 for technical and economic reevaluation and reconstruction in the Zakarpattia region.
